African Journal of Traumatic Stress

The African Journal of Traumatic Stress (AJTS) is the first peer review journal of its kind, underwritten by PCAF and edited by members of the Department of Psychiatry of Makerere University. Articles and studies in the field, including the proceedings from the annual Peter C. Alderman Pan-Africa Conference on Psychotrauma are published in AJTS (ISSN-2218-4937).

The Inaugural Issue was introduced July 7, 2010 in Nairobi, Kenya at the Peter C. Alderman Third Pan-African Conference on Psychotrauma, followed by the second issue in December 2010, the third issue in June 2011 and the fourth issue in December 2011.
